The New Forest ponies
Although the ponies are wild, they are owned by local commoners who keep a close eye on them. To keep these animals safe it is very important not to touch them but to enjoy looking at them from a safe distance. So please do not feed them as it can make them very ill, cause them to become aggressive and encourages them near cars where they can get hit, So to keep them safe please drive slowly, keep your distance and do take some great photos and enjoy watching them if you see them out and about but from a safe distance.
Thank you for helping to keep our ponies safe.
